Science Olympiad Preparation Class
For Elementary Students
The Elementary Science Olympiad consists of events from the three broad areas of science education: 1. Science process and thinking skills; 2. Science concepts and knowledge; 3.Science application and technology skills. In this class students get familiar with some Science Olympiad basic concepts through hands-on activities. Children learn some STEM concepts like anatomy, chemistry, physics and engineering.
This class covers 97+ Science Olympaid events listed below. There are a total of 110 lessons for this whole program.

Tuesday /Wednesday 5:15 pm-6:15 pm (age 8-11)，15 Classes，$600
Wednesday 5:15 pm-6:15 pm (age 8-11)，15 Classes，$600
Saturday 2:40 pm-3:40pm (age 8-11), 15 Classes, $600
Tuition including the materials fee. Each kid has his/her own materials.

In this class, children challenge themselves in finding ways for a small toy to cross a pretend river. While doing so, the children will be exposed to a few scientific and engineering concepts like buoyancy, structural strength… through a fun and engaging presentation.
Ms.Samare
Science STEM Teacher
Ms. Samare has a bachelor’s in chemical Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology and has been a STEM instructor/ coach/science curriculum developer for more than 10 years. Teacher Samare holds a Site Supervisor/ Teacher Permit from West Valley College. She loves to encourage children to be problem solvers and her students take advantage of her open-ended questions curriculums. Teacher Samare’s passion for leading students to show their full potential encouraged her to get her Board Cognitive Specialist Certificate from IBCCES. She currently is been working as the Ustar Manager/STEM Teacher/Science Olympiad Coach in Ustar Cupertino.
