Our language arts curriculum uses a workshop approach to teach and explore reading, writing, poetry, word study, grammar, and writing mechanics using WW3000, Write Source book and reading comprehension books.
Math & Math Competition
Our math curriculum cultivates a passion for problem solving, improves student’s mathematical ability, a knack for numbers, and the desire to discover from an early age. We use programs like Beast Academy, Singapore Math and AOPS to build the foundation, and help students prepare math competitions like “Math Kangaroo“, “Math league“, “AMC 8 and 10“.

Ustar Science Lab
The Elementary Science Olympiad consists of events from the three broad areas of science education: 1. Science process and thinking skills; 2. Science concepts and knowledge; 3.Science application and technology skills. In this class students get familiar with some Science Olympiad basic concepts through hands-on activities. Children learn some STEM concepts like anatomy, chemistry, physics and engineering.
Public Speaking & Debate
Welcome to our Speaking and Debate class series, where young learners aged 5-14 will hone their public speaking skills with confidence. From crafting vivid speeches to mastering debate basics, our engaging courses empower students to express themselves effectively and persuasively. Join us on this journey of self-discovery and growth as we unlock the power of communication, one confident speech at a time.

Miss Dani holds bachelor degrees in English and Communicative Science and Disorders. She is
currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Communicative Science and Disorders at NYU. With
many years of experience teaching English classes both in-person and online, Miss Dani is
passionate about learning and loves sharing this passion with her students.
Mr. Richard
English / History Teacher
Teacher Richard earned his BA in English Language and Linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University in 2000. He has 10+ years teaching experience, taught English , science, history to students of all ages, from preschool to university to mature adult levels. Richard uses humor to promote a joyful and unselfconscious learning atmosphere. He understands that making mistakes and getting stuck are part of the learning process.

Art Teacher
Ms. Nas, an enthusiastic and dedicated Art teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Art and ongoing education in Design. With a decade of experience in the field of Interior Design. My passion for teaching is fueled by my love for working with children, fostering creativity, and helping young minds explore the world of art.
Ms.Samare
Science/Math/Drama Teacher
Ms. Samare holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and has over a decade of experience as a STEM instructor, coach, and science curriculum developer. With a Site Supervisor/Teacher Permit from West Valley College, she is dedicated to fostering problem-solving skills in her students through open-ended questioning. Passionate about unlocking student potential, she earned her Board Cognitive Specialist Certificate from IBCCES. Currently, she serves as the Ustar Manager/STEM Teacher/Science Olympiad Coach at Ustar Cupertino.
Austin Lee
STEM Teacher
Austin is a seasoned software engineer with 7+ years of experience, most recently at Meta. He brings a wealth of technical expertise and a deep passion for teaching the next generation of coders. Austin holds at Masters in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.
Ms. Agnes
Chinese Teacher
Teacher Agnes is a dedicated Chinese language educator with over 30 years of experience. She holds a Ph.D. on Linguistics from National Taiwan Normal University and a Master’s from Indiana University. Ms. Agnes excels at engaging students from diverse backgrounds and shaping comprehensive educational experiences. Her collaboration with educators has enriched curricula and projects. Known for her expertise, she is committed to fostering excellence in Mandarin education and helping studentsdevelop strong communication skills.

Chinese Teacher
Teacher Eunice holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and brings her expertise to teaching Lego robotics and mathematics. She is passionate about working with young children and uses a hands-on, play-based approach to engage them in STEM subjects. Her goal is to make learning an enjoyable and enriching experience for all her students.

Zahra Novin is an experienced science teacher with 9 years of experience in subjects like biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science. She holds an MS degree in Nutrition Sciences and is experienced in health and nutrition education and research. She has taught students from different backgrounds and created engaging lessons that make learning exciting. She believes in providing high-quality teaching and helping students appreciate the natural world. Zahra focuses on developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing her students for success. Zahra is committed to fostering a learning environment that encourages curiosity and a lifelong love for learning.

Jonathan is a dedicated educator and innovator with 9 years of experience in STEM education and technology development. As the founder of Build Play Learn Labs, Jonathan has been instrumental in designing hands-on learning experiences that empower students in coding, robotics, and creative problem-solving. With a background in computer science, Jonathan brings a blend of technical expertise and a deep passion for inspiring the next generation of thinkers and creators.
Beyond teaching, Jonathan is actively expanding programs that merge education and innovation. His mission is to foster curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning in every student he works with.
