Course Description
The Kindergarten Level 2 reading curriculum focuses on understanding and developing an extensive sight word vocabulary. Applying more complex phonics strategies and continue to develop their literacy skills as they learn more complex words and absorb longer, more rigorous texts in a variety of genres including fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. The writing curriculum focuses on writing competently for many purposes, using punctuation appropriately and experiencing a variety of literary genres.
Lesson Time: Every Sunday 5:00-5:40PM (central time)

About the teacher
Mrs. Saima holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and dual bachelor’s degree in Science. She has taught English to children for 16 years. Currently, she is working as an online English instructor, teaching kids aged 4-14 years. She loves teaching and watching the young minds shape and mold into wonderful readers and writers. Her job as a facilitator is to develop enriching, engaging lessons that stretch the thinking of all the young students.
