Today we started debate camp. Our first assignment was to write about a topic we cared about. I wrote about women’s rights. Our teacher, Lani said that we would be presenting these on Wednesday. In Between the times of research, we had time to play games. My favorite one is called 60 seconds, where one person has a topic that they have to talk about for 60 seconds but they can not use any filler words. If they do, and the audience catches them, the first person in the audience who rose their hand now goes onto the stage, and finished the last person’s 60 seconds. The person who is on the stage when the timer rings, gets a point and if you last all 60 seconds without anyone replacing you, you get two points. The person with the most points gets a prize at the end of the week.

Its Tuesday and I still haven’t gotten any points. Its ok though. The person in the lead only has three, so I can catch up quickly. Today me and my fried Cara decided to download a game and see who would be at a higher level the next day(I’m on level 100, I don’t think she will be catching up anytime soon). I got two mosquito bites and I think i’m the only victim of the mosquito.

Why is the sky blue? Why not pink? I think it might be because it reflects off of the oceans, but then why isn’t some part of the sky green?. Maybe it’s the ocean reflecting from the sky. Who knows? I would research it but the information won’t help me at all

I got my first point today! At this point I dont think Im gonna win the prize, but that’s fine. Today I told my partner to start working on his speech but instead he was on his phone texting. This reminded me that if I want anything to be done right, I have to do it myself. Unfortunately, I’m very lazy.
