This writing program is designed to assist students of all levels in delivering well thought out, organized, creative or academic essays for school or supplemental courses. Teachers well versed in the writing process will help students by editing their essays for spelling, grammar, and word choice. Teachers will also communicate with students by providing ample feedback on constructing a strong thesis statement, finding ways to better structure and develop their paper, and suggesting how to find reputable sources to create a stronger essay.


The goal of the UStar writing program is to familiarize students with academic writing while also helping them develop their own voice. Together, with the help of our expert teachers, we will guide students towards becoming better writers, thinkers and speakers, all of which are necessary skills to be successful in the 21st century. 


Our teachers will edit your writing for word choicesentence structuretone, and clarity, and they will make suggestions on organization and structure. We’ll provide helpful comments to let you know where you can improve your arguments and strengthen your paper, and we’ll also fix typos and spelling and grammar errors.

The editing system is simple: all revisions (punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, etc.) will be done in a different color, and there will be a strikethrough over the original students’writing to indicate a change. 

What will you receive

  • An edited copy of your document in which the typos, spelling errors, and grammar errors have been corrected.
  • Tracked revisions so that you can see and review all the changes that have been made.
  • Comments that address any remaining areas of concern or potential issues.
  • Suggestions to help improve the writing and the content.
  • A short summary of the work that has been done and any major concerns.

Our writing program is a monthly subscribe membership program.  We offer Platinum, Gold, Silver three types of membership to meet different kinds of requirements. Different type of membership have different benefits, the details refer to the Plan below.

The membership program has a membership sign up fee (one time payment), and monthly subscription fee. You can cancel the membership at any time, no extra charge or advanced notice needed. Once you sign up the membership, you will have a 30 days trial period , after 30 days, you will be charged for the monthly subscription fee. If you cancel the membership, you will not be charged next month.

Meet Our Writing Program Experts/Teachers

MS. Sara

English reading and writing K-3 grade

Ms. Sara has a wide range of experience in the education field, particularly ESL. She holds a Bachelor degree in English,  a Master’s degree in TESOL. She strives to meet the needs and strengths of each student through individualized, differentiated instruction.  She is an experienced teacher for teaching K-3 English Language Arts, as well as ESOL in a K-8 setting.

Ms. Saima has taught English to children for 16 years. She loves teaching and watching the young minds shape and mold into wonderful readers and writers Her job as a facilitator is to develop enriching, engaging lessons that stretch the thinking of all her young students.


English reading and writing 3-6

Ms. Benno is an experienced English teacher for public school in Texas, and a Digital Literacy Coach.  She has taught literacy through reading and writing for over 20 years. She has served on the Discovery Education Texas State Leadership Council and been a Discovery Star Educator since 2010.

Mrs. Glassford

English reading and writing 7-8 grade​

Mrs. Glassford holds a Master of Arts in English, majored in Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies; She is high School and Middle School English Composition Teacher, experienced in teaching Pre-AP/Honors American Literature; She taught Middle School English and World Literature, and tutored ACT Prep and college level English

MS. Ayala

English reading and writing 3-12 grade

Ms. Ayala has been an educator since 2006.  She has taught all levels of English and Literature including Elementary, Middle and High School levels as well as regular, honors, Pre IB and AP Literature. She hold a Master in Education, phD (ABD) in Education. She is also a Private school English teacher.


Writing program assistant

A current student at Boston College. She was a staff writer for 3 years on her high school’s student-run publication, writing and publishing journalistic articles every month. She also has experience editing articles and photo captions as beats editor and PR editor. During her first year at Boston College, she joined The Gavel and ASIAM as copy editor/content editor, helping revise other students’ articles and magazine submissions. She received a Columbia Scholastic Press Association Gold Circle award in 2018


Writing program assistant

A current student at the University of San Diego. She have achieved perfect scores in the national College Board AP Language and Composition exam. She also scored in the top percentile for the College Board SAT exam. Throughout high school, she tutored for several subjects including topics covered in the SAT, math, and English writing. She was a National Merit Scholar, and participated in her school’s Honors Society. She have done speech and debate for seven years, and specialize in argumentative and persuasive writing.
