The best day I had was last year’s Christmas. It all started when I woke up early that morning. The crazy thing was that I didn’t even notice it was Christmas! I did my regular morning routine: stretch, yawn, brush, and dress. When I was walking out of the hallway, I noticed a Christmas tree in the living room. That’s when I finally realized it was Christmas! I squinted below the tree. Sure enough, there were plenty of presents. Without hesitation, I ran to the presents and tore my presents open. It looked like my sister and I both had four presents each. I was filled with excitement as my fingers danced across the wrapping paper. The first present I got was a shiny blue model car. It looked incredibly realistic! My second present was a package of useful school materials. I was smiling ear to ear. My third present was a world map. That was great because I was always into geography. The last present I got was a book that I always wanted: The Red Pyramid, by Rick Riordan. I might no believe in “Santa” anymore, but Christmas if still my favorite holiday of the year.
