As I saw the trucks coming to tear our home apart, I did nothing and said nothing. We knew we could not do anything. The mayor had asked our grandfather to let him dig up our home. He would give him some money. But money was not enough. He had lived their for a half his life. He was not going to give up. Plus the money the mayor offered was not even 3/4 the houses price. The greedy mayor was determind. He knew the grandfather was a good man. So….. how would he get what we wants? He might me greedy, mean, and selfish but he was not stupid. He found a false reason and imprisoned my grandfather and his siblings. Capture 6 people was easy. But what about 25? Soon more and more people started noticing. The mayor knew want was happening. He let go of everyone. He resigned a week later.
