USTAR EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE CAMP

Week 1

Diversity and Inclusion

We will explore the importance of recognizing and appreciating one another’s similarities and differences.

Week 2

Empathy and Critical Thinking

We learn how to identify our emotions and identify other’s. We will also practice how to have critical thinking skills!

Week 3

Communication

We will explore effective ways to communicate with others! Very practical skills included!

Week 4

Problem Solving

We will learn how to resolve conflict and disagreement. We will practice conflict-resolution steps that facilitate healthy relational patterns.

Week 5

Peer Relationships

We will explore positive social skills, learn the consequences of bullying , and provide peers with support.

Ms. Jenna

English Teacher

Ms. Jenna earned a master of arts in teaching from Saint Mary’s College of California and a bachelor of arts in history from San Francisco State University. Her education experience  has given her a strong foundation in education. Nine years of teaching experience in all grades has given her  a variety of skills to work with all ages. Commitment to learning and education is her life ambitions and is reflected in the work she does.
